MOVING WITH GRIEF

You don’t have to carry it alone.

Grief is tender. Messy. Sometimes silent, sometimes overwhelming.
It can feel like a weight in the body, a fog in the mind, or a quiet ache in the soul.
It lives in our bones, our breath, our routines—showing up in unexpected ways.

Moving With Grief is a 90-minute gathering where you’re invited to come as you are.
Whether your grief is raw and recent, slow and cyclical, or something you’ve carried for years, this space is for you.

Together, we’ll honor the full spectrum of what it means to grieve in community, not isolation. You’ll be held in a circle of care where your story matters, your body is welcomed, and your emotions are never too much.

Why This Matters

Grief often isolates us. In a culture that rushes healing and fears pain, it’s rare to find space for grief to simply be witnessed.

But grief is not something to fix—it’s something to tend.
It deserves breath, presence, movement, and the steady rhythm of being seen.

Sitting together in community reminds us that grief is part of love, that there’s no one way to do it right, and that healing happens in slow, sacred moments—especially when we don’t rush past the hard parts.

What to Expect

This is not a therapy session or a fitness class.
It’s a ritual. A return to the body. A remembering that we’re not alone.

In this 90-minute experience, you’ll be gently guided through:

  • Opening the Circle: A chance to meet your guides and share (as much or as little as you’d like)

  • A Group Ritual: An invitation to connect with your grief in a new way

  • A Conversation on Grief + the Body with Susie, end-of-life doula and grief specialist

  • A Guided Embodiment Practice with Meg, to move with what’s present in your body

  • Closing Reflections: Space to share, integrate, and connect before we part

You don’t need any prior movement experience. You don’t need to be “in the right place.” Just bring your breath, your presence, and whatever you’re holding.

MEET YOUR GUIDES

Susie & Meg

Susie is an end-of-life doula, mind-body life coach, and grief specialist who illuminates the darkness of grief. Drawing from her 30 years of experience in the healing arts, Susie offers more than traditional life coaching. She creates a sacred space where grief becomes a gateway into deeper understanding and wisdom. She helps clients discover acceptance and resilience amid life's most challenging transitions. Susie recognizes that true transformation and healing occur when body, mind, and spirit are honored together.

Meg is a mind-body coach and movement teacher who invites others to explore the deep intelligence of the body as a pathway to healing and self-discovery. With roots in pilates, yoga, somatic practices, and trauma-informed coaching, her work honours movement as a way to listen, express, and remember who we are.

Blending years of teaching with a background in writing and anthropology, Meg holds space for stories to emerge—not just through words, but through breath, sensation, and presence. She believes that true transformation begins with curiosity, vulnerability, and a willingness to meet ourselves exactly where we are.
